Privacy policy

GLPosage keeps your health information on your phone. We cannot see it, we do not receive it, and there is no account for it to be attached to.
The short version
- Everything you log stays on your device.
- There is no sign up, no account and no cloud sync.
- We use no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
- Nothing you log is ever sold, shared or transmitted to us.
What the app stores
GLPosage records what you enter: the name you give your medication, dose amounts, the dates and times of doses, injection sites, notes, weights, side effect entries and your app settings.
All of it is written to a database on your phone. It is not uploaded, not backed up to our servers, and not accessible to us in any form. If you delete the app, that data goes with it.
What leaves your phone
Two things, neither of which contains anything you have logged.
Subscription handling
If you subscribe, Apple processes the payment. We use RevenueCat to tell the app whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated identifier for your installation, the purchase and renewal events attached to that identifier, and your device country. It does not receive your name, your email address, or anything you have logged in the app.
Apple acts as the seller for that transaction under its own privacy policy. RevenueCat acts as our processor under a data processing agreement.
Files you choose to export
The PDF and CSV exports are generated on your phone. The file only leaves your device if you pick a destination in the iOS share sheet, such as an email, a message or a files app. We are not involved in that and never receive a copy.
Notifications
Dose reminders are scheduled by iOS on your device. There is no push server and no notification passes through us. If you turn on discreet wording in settings, the reminder text will not mention medication.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you have rights over your personal data. Because everything sits on your device and we hold no copy, you can exercise most of them directly and immediately.

Children
GLPosage is not intended for and not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date. Anything material will also be flagged in the app.
